Born in Rhode Island, Jonathan Buck was raised primarily in Pasadena, Calif. During his childhood, he spent many afternoons in the record store owned by his grandparents. “I literally listened to records all day long,” he attests. “I had a very large collection, and I didn’t even understand the cultural impact of the music I was listening to; I just knew I liked certain records, everything by The Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, Diana Ross … I didn’t know anything about genre or style; I just knew good music.”
Jeremy is releasing "Speaking Louder Than Before" on Nov. 25, 2008. There will be two editions of "Speaking Louder Than Before" available- the normal editions (12 songs) + online extras- the Special Edition includes the full album, an hour + worth of DVD content that includes "video devotionals" for every song on the album (Each includes a portion of the song in a cool music video format spliced with commentary/Bible study application from Jeremy Camp) + making of the album, special packaging with extended booklet featuring journal entries from Jeremy about this album process and thoughts during the songwriting process.
